PM “Outraged” By EU-Mandated Licensing Of Abortion Pill In Hungary

Orbán said he is “outraged” by the EU-mandated licensing of abortion pill in Hungary; opponents say the move violates “pro-life” constitution. Health state secretary Miklós Szócska told Parliament yesterday that the National Pharmaceutical Institute registered the pill on May 17, in line with a code that is binding on EU member states. He added that the registration does not mean that the pill will be allowed for use.
