The French newspaper, Le Monde, is on the verge of bankruptcy. They are known for their open anti-Catholicism and attacks on the Church and Our Lord Jesus Christ.
In particular, Le Monde was the most evident expression of hatred against Catholic morality after the Pope reaffirmed Church teaching about chastity and showed how prophylactics, instead of helping to protect lives and restrict the spread of AIDS, actually contribute to spread the disease and cause more deaths.

Within two weeks, the French newspaper Le Monde will run out of cash. By this Monday at noon, candidates to the takeover of the most prestigious French daily will have disclosed their offers. By June 28, the staff will vote and make the final decision for the fate of the 66 years-old paper.
More importantly, the newspaper’s independence will be under severe pressure.”
