Bishops of the Los Angeles archdiocese issue statement criticizing legalized same-sex marriage
On Monday, a day before the county clerks throughout California began issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples, the bishops of the Los Angeles archdiocese issued a statement affirming the Church’s teaching on marriage and criticizing the California Supreme Court’s May 15 redefinition of marriage.
