Made your Lenten resolution?

When it comes time to offer a sacrifice during Lent, most Catholics give up coffee, chocolate, or something they like to eat.

While such sacrifices are good and helpful for the will to control the senses, they are not the only sacrifices you can offer up for Lent.

For example, have you thought about offering a sacrifice that contradicts your main defect?

Let's say that someone has the habit of human respect and fails to defend the faith and good moral customs in public when they are attacked. Then, an excellent sacrifice would be to call the manager next time they are at the supermarket and complain about the immoral magazines in the checkout aisle. (I call these magazines the "devil's wallpaper.")

But if the America Needs Fatima group does this in force, all over the country, I bet some supermarkets would remove or cover the immoral magazines, and God and Our Lady would be pleased with our Lenten offerings.

Moreover, many souls would not sin by looking at such moral filth and many young people would not consider the posting and selling of such magazines as normal.

May Our Lady of Sorrows grant us the moral fortitude to offer the sacrifces this Lent that will sanctify our souls and oppose the moral corruption in society that threatens to bring God's punishment upon the world, as Our Lady warned at Fatima.

Finally, you can still get your free Way of the Cross book or CD by calling the America Needs Fatima phone number at 1-888-317-5571.
